On October 19, 2023, the Parliament of Republic of Latvia has approved Dr.oec. Jānis Priede as a member of the Fiscal Discipline Council for six years. The Council is an independent collegial body established with the aim of ensuring the supervision of compliance with the of fiscal discipline conditions.
