In accordance with Article 20 (2) of the Fiscal Discipline Law, the Fiscal Discipline Council is responsible for endorsing the macroeconomic forecasts prepared by the Ministry of Finance.
On 12 February, the Council received the Ministry of Finance’s updated assessment of economic developments in 2025, as well as the macroeconomic forecasts for 2026–2030. These forecasts will serve as the basis for the preparation of the Fiscal-Structural Plan Progress Report for 2026–2030.
Following its assessment, the Council adopted a decision to endorse the macroeconomic forecasts prepared by the Ministry of Finance.

On 12 March 2026, the Ministry of Finance submitted revised macroeconomic forecast data, prepared on the basis of the latest GDP figures published by the Central Statistical Office. On 17 March 2026, the Council approved the technical revisions to the Ministry of Finance’s macroeconomic forecasts.
